Joan’s on Third is one of the best places to stop by and have brunch or tea. It is also the ideal place to buy deli gifts.

The pastries are all delicious. My favorites are vanilla cupcakes, although I must admit that the carrot cake is superb. There are many options for brunch, such as burrata, hummus, macaroni and cheese, and salmon, but what I like the most is breaded chicken escalope. For those who prefer light meals, there is a great variety of exquisite salads, cheeses, and grilled vegetables.

The place is decorated as a tiny boutique grocery. There are homemade jams, cheeses, a wide selection of wines from Napa Valley, ice- creams, and many other options for those who love gastronomy. Everything is organized on open shelves, which creates a delicate and fresh look.

At Joan’s on Third you can either share a table with other guests or sit alone to enjoy the food.
