Prince Rogers Nelson, better known as Prince, died yesterday, at 57, and only a week after giving a show at The Fox Theatre of Atlanta, as part of the tour Piano & a Microphone.

Prince was not only a great singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and dancer; he was a creator that left a legacy never to be forgotten in rock, soul, funk, pop, and new wave, but also in the artistic world in general, with a dynamic, eclectic, innovative, vivid, and iconic style that never stopped dazzling people from the 70s on.

His voice and his stamp will always live in his 39 albums, in classics such as Purple Rain, with which he won an Oscar, or in songs such as Kiss, Musicology, Call My Name, The Song of the Heart, Let’s go crazy, o When doves cry.

Mick Jagger said he was “a revolutionary artist, with a limitless talent; an original lyricist and a startling guitar player”.
Barack Obama, the President of the United States said that a “creative icon had gone”.

In Le Banana, we also want to honor him, and we will do so showing some photographs of the most memorable moments of his career.
