The Chinese-American designer Vivienne Tam presented her SS2017 collection at the New York Fashion Week and we were there to tell what’s coming the next season.
Tam’s trend for the following spring-summer is characterized by the Californian Far-West style, with shiny belts, naked shoulders, flower and butterfly prints, ruffles and jeans.

Regarding colors, batik is back and so are strong tones being red, green, orange, and pink at the center.
Tam’s fetishes? Dresses in all their shapes, long, short, loose, and tight belts that highlight women’s shapes.

As is usual in Tam, the collection is a bridge between East and West societies, with pieces of clothing that show her passion for, as she herself says: “Sharing the culture of the world, and bringing cultural harmony”.
