The Staples Center of Los Angeles glowed again with the arrival of the stars of the music industry to the 58th Grammy Awards gala and we were there to tell you everything about it!
The ceremony started with Taylor Swift, who sang Out of the Woods, and went on with the first Grammy of the night that was for the best rap album and went for Kendrick Lamar, the artist with more nominations thanks to To Pimp a Butterfly.
Besides, the rapper gave one of the most eclectic presentations of the Grammy Awards, interpreting a chained prisoner surrounded by fire: the most stunning show.
But there were many other moments that are also worth mentioning.
The Weeknd, with seven nominations, made the Staples dance to the rhythm of his music with the hits Can’t feel my face and In the night, which he played in an acoustic version just with a piano and a violoncello. Besides, the singer won Best R&B Performance for Earned It and Best Urban Contemporary Album for? Beauty Behind the Madness?.
Justin Bieber, who arrived with his little brother Jaxon, let us see one of the most loving moments of the red carpet. And then in the ceremony the young singer, who is breaking all the records in the charts, sang together with Jack Ü the hit Where are ü now.
And another climax of the event was Adele’s return to the Grammy stage, a moment that the audience had expected a lot and that the singer immortalized with the song All I Ask, one of the hits of the record 25, written together with Bruno Mars.
Lady Gaga’s tribute to David Bowie was, undoubtedly, the most powerful moment of the night. A perfect show that went through Bowie’s most iconic songs such as Let’s dance, Fashion, Rebel Rebel and Hero.
Finally, the most expected awards: “Record of the year”, which was presented by Beyoncé, and “Álbum of the year” went for Bruno Mars and Taylor Swift respectively.
The event ended with Pitbull’s show, who played with Joe Perry, Aerosmith’s main guitar player, and gave an incredible performance that also had the presence of Sofia Vergara, closing in a perfect way the most important ceremony of the world of music.
What do you think about this great night in tribute to music? Which were your favorite moments and stars?
Enjoy it!
