During the weekend, music and fashion met to celebrate the second edition of Fashion Meets Rock that this time took place at Palermo Racecourse.
The party started at 5 PM, with the music of DJ Villa Diamante, stands to get some make up and take photos, and super cool food trucks to try delicious pancakes, hamburgers, French fries, natural juices and other yummy things.
When the sun began to set, the audience danced to the rhythm of Naomi Preizler, Deborah de Corral and Catarina Spinetta who were always accompanied by a group of hip hop dancers that dazzled the public with their ability.
But the best moment of the night was when IKV got on stage and, together with Nico Cota’s band, made people dance and sing before fashion shows started.
Adidas and Bandoleiro opened the catwalk with pieces of clothing inspired by hip hop and collections in which ponchos and fringes were at the center. Then was Levi’s, Javiar Saiach and Josefina Ferroni turn, who were accompanied by the music of De La Rivera.
The trio Ay Not Dead, Evangelina Bomparola and Prüne had jazz and soul as inspiration and the fetish clothes were turbans and hats. Then, Rubén Rada came on stage and added his rhythm to the collections presented by Tramando –by Martín Churba-, Sylvie Geromini, Dubié and Vulk Eyewear.
Sofía and Ricky Sarkany together with Boerr Yarde Buller presented items where white, silver and black were at the center and chose metal and leather as textures giving the collections a glam rock inspiration.
Golden was the predominant color of Laurencio Adot, De La Ostia and Valdez presentation, which was accompanied by the music of Miss Bolivia; while Not To Be Understood by Jessica Trosman and Giesso chose gray tones and black, and oversize garments.
Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas closed the party and made the audience jump joyfully while the stage gathered together the art and fashion of the designers that were the main characters of the night.
Enjoy it!
