After Alessandro Michele´s Gucci first collection, Princeton slippers with goat fur started a hairy trend that every brand wanted to join. With pony hair, fox, sheep or faux fur, European brands and streets were crowded with this hot fashion that doesn’t respect the weather. On summer, this shoes can be used as sandals, mules or in small details like pompoms.

While Celine kicked off this trend in 2012 with furry Birkenstock and stilettos appeared in vibrant colors, soon every brand such as Dolce & Gabanna, Maison Margiela, Fendi, Rochas and Salvatore Ferragamo hop in to this style that seems to have stolen Game of Thrones footwear.

Argentina has its own edition. The men footwear brand, Enfant Terrible, in collaboration with founder of the advertising agency Furia, Guillermo Tragant, designed a limited edition of hand-sewn goat hair loafers. Other brand working with fur is Chicco Ruiz. She seeks to use fur in its purest and rustic way and combines them with leather, patent leather and different kinds of fabric.
Whay do you think about this trend? If they are synthetic much better!
