At the top of the walk through the shops of the major brands in Milan found the Marchesi 1824 pastry shop, is property for the glamorous Prada. It is a classic among the Milanese and a must visit on your next trip to beautiful Italy.

This almost bicentennial café occupies a building of the seventies with the foundational furniture, mirrors and the Art Deco lamps. It is a meeting point for Milanese in the pause for an espresso or the typical Italian aperitivo. Its chocolate Truffé cake is one of the favourite. It is also very famous for its panettones. There are long queues in the Christmas season to buy them.

Marchesi 1824 already has three branches. The original, mentioned earlier, founded by the Marchesi family is located on Via S. Maria Alla Porta. The second, in the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, where most of the windows give the street and finally the one located on Via Monte Napoleone 9, a few steps from the most glamorous shops of the city.

To take home: the cream of hazelnuts, made by itself, with coffee or cocoa. There is also a variety of jams. The souvenir? Chocolates and candies are hit. Enjoy yourself in your future #Eurotrip!
