A new edition of Buenos Aires fashion week took place and we were there to tell you what are the trends for this 2016/2017 spring summer season.
As usual, BAFWeek’s main stage was La Rural convention center, but this year, designs took other places of the city: Devoto Palace, Alto Palermo, Paseo Alcorta, and Patio Bullrich bécame catwalks of the best of Argentine fashion.
House of Matching Colours
Holi

Brands such as Holi by Dolores Barreiro, Dappiano, María Vázquez, Zito and Cher were faithful to the styles that already characterize them and respected the aesthetics that the public expects from them. Holi was inspired by the Caribbean women and reasserted its confidence in colors and wide shapes; besides it amazed everyone with turbans that, without any doubt are the fetish of the collection. Dappiano, María Váquez, Zito and Cher showed pieces that highlight femininity, with dresses, vests, and oversize items as protagonists.

Blackmamba deserves a paragraph on its own. They caught the attention of the audience with an outstanding staging that mixed art and fashion and dazzled everyone with daring performances by Anita Pauls and Flor Torrente and an unexpected closing with Moria Casán as protagonist: an amazing celebration that closed in the best possible way the end of BAFWeek SS 16-17.
