The label showed its new collection inspired by the desert and nature; Also, Julieta Cardinali sent down the runway her 14th capsule, “Cosmic Love”.
After Ginebra made BAF Week summer debut, it was CLARA´s turn to show their collection. Arid and tropical climates where combined as starting point for “Tropical Desert”, the new line inspired by the oasis that was held at Patio Bullrich sidewalk.
Organic and natural textiles such as linen, cotton and poplin appeared in cargo and Oxford pants with matching jackets and parkas, in neutral colors such as cigar brown, camel, mink, loden green and beige. They were perfectly match with warmer ones such as poppy red, bright yellow, and green that appeared throughout the collection in full color and in leaves prints in guipures and cotton dresses and tank tops. Moreover in embroidered designs that danced while walking through the sidewalk. Desaturated tones -pink, lilac and nude- concluded the summer palette.
Ruffles remain strong this year and they came in different sises and in pleated and ethereal blouses, light and tailores, knotted shirts, lights dresses, Capri pants and even on shoes!
This season brings new lengths for coats and cardigans, in 7/8 for daytime, styled with thin leather belts, stretch capri pants and desert spirit accessories in noble materials such as interwoven leather, suede, bone and wood.
On the other hand, Julieta Cardinali´s capsule collection was full of “Cosmic Love”. It´s 14th collection brought lots of mystery and shine to clothes as it referred to the Solar System and its galaxies. Metallic leather shorts and pants, stellar prints (trend alert) and accessories were everywhere at Patio Bullrich in fuchsia, silver, red, electric blue and gold. Get dressed and reach for the stars.
