Three different looks coexist in María Cher´s new Autumn / Winter 18 proposal, for which the designer planned around her own universe. In the same collection, we get a net image, an easy and contemporary chic ease and another one filled with rock references, always present in the brand´s DNA.
Minimal chic
For the net woman, CHER brings an extremely chic winter focused on details, natural fabrics and comfortable knits. Overlays and prints are the resources that the brand use in order to give a twist to classic garments and turn them into trends. The color palette includes the classics: black, white and red, but also new shades such as lilac, lavender and petrol blue. Asymmetrical maxi shirts, cargo pants and relaxed fit suits in silk seems to be the season favourites.
Explore Fashion
Maria Cherñajovsky always works with trends but does not stick to them as she always takes the hits and gives them CHER´s identity. Big volumes, oversize clothes, a mix & match of textures and colors and Oxford pants will make us dream and travel to the 70s. Red will be one of the biggest stars in this collection, in total looks, cotton-made ponchos and even metallic jackets and skirts, but there is also place for a range of different shades of pink, purple, light green parrot and gray. Each year, accessories are growing in quantity and style. Our favorites? The fanny packs, tote bags and high boots.
Ground control to Major Tom
Two years after Bowie’s death, tributes can never seem enough. CHER´s darkness is filled with glitter and space inspiration where spacial garments emanate rock & roll: Leather, fur, lurex, and knit round up this universe filled with seventies inspiration. There is also room for a limited edition by Rubén Troilo (the former Garza Lobos´ designer) filled with metallic paillettes, never seen before in Argentinean brands. Troilo has the savoir faire that the brand needs, between the easy going chic and trendy. No doubt, glitter boots are THE must have of this line.
