This summer the brand turned away from black and leather with a new swing for amicable and dreamy garments as an invitation to a fantasy world
Alcorta´s fist level metamorphosed into a soft and light cloud for Blackmamba´s performance, designed by designers Bianca Siconolfi and Julia Ramos, who, in a pleasant surprise, moved away from the hard and rocky aesthetic -with black & leather as their main inspirations- and attendees were trasnported to a dreamy world with “Somnífera”, the summer ´18 collection during BAF Week.
As unconscious fairies, models went down the runway in ethereal dresses with a wide repertoire of ruffles and sheer garments, inpired in kimonos, robes and pijamas in a soft palette that included off-white, nude, grey, light blue on striped shirts, prince of Wales prints and Blackmamba signé accents in furious red on a set of two pieces of skirt with long skirt and ruffled top that Mia Quinn walked down the mall.
Textiles helped recreate the magical trip. Soft cottons, organzas, tulle and crepes in desaturated tones made their way into a collection where leather, suede and denim garments, principal textile of this summer, remain unbeaten.
