The first Buenos Aires fashion week of the year brought down its curtain yesterday and in Le Banana we will share with you the trends that are coming up for this AW2016 season.
The designers that stood apart from the rest with their disruptive creations, their boldness, and their avant-garde aesthetic were Roma Renom, Juan Hernández Daels, Juana de Arco, Chaín – García Bello, Maison Nomade, and Abre Indumento.
Roma presented a collection based on the Tied-up concept, with bows at the center, and the Robe de Chambre as the key item; Hernández Daels, inspired by the circle shape, created pieces that are geometric and volumetric but at the same time simple and pure, yellow and silver are the most saturated colors of his season and they are used in contrast with black, white and gray items; Juana, faithful to her inner self, showed new exclusive prints, textures and colors that have her seal.
Chaín – García Bello, Maison Nomade, and Abre Indumento, three of the four winners Pasarela BA 2016, stood out with their aesthetics contributions and with articles that show an imagination that goes beyond standards.
And among the highlights, we must mention the proposals of Graciela Zito: elegant, feminine, minimalist and with a masculine touch; of Cid-Kohan, with black and white as the leading colors and a perfect balance between classic items and fashion; and of Blackmamba, with its neo-classic style, articles that break all the canons and rule-breaking make-up.
