The American designer Anna Sui was one of the leading artists at New York Fashion Week.

The 2017 Spring-Summer collection of this creator of Asian ancestors that reached success in the 90s when she did her first fashion show and her designs started to appear at Vogue Patterns, mixes vintage styles with her current cultural obsessions, and results in hip and exuberant original clothes.

The pieces of clothing recall the 60s and the 90s, and the collection is clearly inspired by rock and roll idols such as Axl rose and American Cowboy style.

The musts of the season? Flowers, fringes, shawls for the head as the ones Axl Rose used to wear, Oxford sleeves, Cowboy hats, ruffles, laces, and the superposition of clothes.

Colors? Red, black, violet, blue, and green are at the center.

Anna’s constant search of new ideas is clear in this new proposal which also shows that she is a true trendsetter to whom stylists and editors look for direction.
