Did you know that in many countries November is the “Healthy Skin Month”? In tune with this date, in Le Banana we give you 8 simple advices recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology for you to take care of your skin:

1) Determine your skin type: oily, dry, combination, normal or sensitive and choose skin care products tailored to that type. If you don’t know that, visit a dermatologist.

2) Wash your face every day with lukewarm water. Super important: never forget to wash your face after exercising.

3) Moisturize your skin daily. Tip: apply lotion or cream while your skin is still damp after bathing to achieve the best results.

4) Always use sunscreen: SPF must be of 30 or higher depending on your skin type.

5) Examine your skin regularly to discover unusual spots, injuries or stains.

6) Use an antiperspirant, rather than a deodorant, to reduce sweating: it is better and it does not irritate the skin.

7) If you have injuries or your skin is dry, consider using petroleum jelly.

8) Prevent blisters and corns on your feet wearing the appropriate shoes and trainers and moisturizing your feet every day.
