There’s a new spot to eat hamburgers in La Plata city and in Le Banana we couldn’t be more excited. We’re talking about Carne, the gourmet burger bar opened by the Argentine chef Mauro Colagreco, the only Latin American chef that was awarded two Michelin stars, thanks to Mirazur, the restaurant on the French Riviera that he created and manages.

The place, which is a downtown corner of Buenos Aires’ capital city remodeled and decorated by the designer Horacio Gallo, offers a totally tempting menu: gourmet hamburgers prepared with meat of cattle grazed on pasture, served with additive free bread, and organic vegetables and eggs.

Our suggestion? The complete burger, a true gourmet burger in homemade bread that comes with bacon, fresh eggs, tomatoes, lettuce, onions and gherkins, crispy homemade French fries, and flavored water prepared with red apple and lemon verbena. If you like sweet food, we recommend that you try Carne’s hit dessert, a chocolate sponge cake with meringue, dulce de leche sauce, and ice cream that we really loved. And if you are on a diet, you can try the incredible fresh salads specially prepared for each client with 100% natural ingredients.
