“Soy Luna”’s ex-actress is one of Argentine top influencers. She is just 22 years old but she has already conquered 2,4 mill followers with a mature and soft voice, while she is preparing her first solo album.
Actress, singer and fashionista, Chiara Parravicini (22) is much more than that. After leaving her role as Yam in Disney’s acclaimed series “Soy Luna”, she decided to make a career change to fully focus on music. In an exclusive interview with Le Banana, she tells us her secrets, her dreams, and the key aspects of her life nowadays.
– After three years in “Soy Luna”, you decided to step aside and focus on your career as a singer. Why did you make this decision?
I needed to make my music. I had hidden it for many years and I felt it was urgent to bring it to light. I had to decide between going on a tour all around Latin America for a whole year or staying to record and produce my album, and since I am so passionate about my art, it was not a difficult decision. Singing leads me to another level and lets me experience something different. It is magical.
– How do you deal with changes, do they scare you or not?
Over the last few years, I have learned that making plans is very difficult because life is full of changes. In my case, changes are always for the better.
– How would you define your music style?
My music is very personal and it is difficult to label it. I don’t want to be categorized as a singer of just one style or genre, I think that my inspiration comes from many styles.
– You work a lot, do you have time for love? How is Chiara when she is in love?
I think that falling in love is like singing. It raises you to another level and it’s like magic. I know this although I haven’t had the chance yet of deeply falling in love with someone.

– If we talk about dressing, you are unique… you always choose vintage items and accessories. How did you create this style?
I have always loved dressing differently. I look for items that make me feel unique, I don’t want to seem as having been taken out from a fashion catalogue. My mom and some artists that I admire are my main inspiration when I choose what to wear and how to create my style.
– You were at Chanel fashion show and you made friends with Valentino’s creative director. How were those experiences?
Both experiences were surprising and awesome. Pier Paolo Piccioli is lovely and also really creative. And Chanel’s fashion show left my speechless.
– Do you have a Muse?
I am inspired by the seventies, I love the magic and the refinement of this decade.
– Your skin is perfect. Which is your beauty routine and what do you advise to take care of it?
I love taking care of my skin, both body skin and, specially, facial skin. I protect my skin from sun and I follow a daily morning and night routine to take care of it. The products I use are recommended to me by my cosmetician and they are a secret.

– When making-up, you always choose a natural style. Which is your secret to have a fresh and gleaming make-up?
I tried that the skin is never dry and I subtly add some shine to those places where light is naturally reflected. Besides, I highlight the eyebrows and eyelashes, and I always moisturize the mouth.
– Which are the items that you always carry in your bag?
Lip balm, lipstick,earphones, chewing gum, and concealer.
– You have more than 2.5 mill followers in Instagram, a number that might generate some pressure. How do you handle it and what is your relationship with your followers?
I would like to start talking more with my followers through my stories, but I feel a little bit shy talking to a cellphone and that thousands of people then read it. That’s why I choose to upload silent content, except when I show myself singing.
– What do you like to express in your social media?
My aesthetics and a part of who I am deep inside. After launching my album, I think that people will get to know me better. So I don’t care a lot if I don’t show my personality or my feelings through the cell phone.

– You always say that going on worldwide tours is a dream that came true. Now, which is the dream you are pursuing? Which are your projects for the future?
My dream now is filling those stadiums with my own show and being recognized by the artists I admire, all around the world. Being a movie or TV star would be also fantastic. In short, doing everything that I love.
