In LA you can find delicious sushi almost anywhere. The good thing when you compared it with other cities is that, since it is near the Pacific Ocean, you can taste a great variety of fishes with many different textures and flavors. Here we give you a list of our favorite sushi points!
Itza-Kaya:
This is our favorite. Maybe the place does not have the perfect setting, but it is very cozy and warm. The quality of its sushi is excellent and there are many menus that you can’t miss: Garlic Albacore Sashimi, Crispy Rice with spicy Tuna, and the Baked Crab Hand roll: a crab roll wrapped with rice paper that is absolutely amazing!

Nobu Malibú:
Nobu’s sushi is always excellent and you will love anything you order. The difference between this Nobu and the others is that this one is located just in front of the beach: you can enjoy the best flavors while having one of the best views of the city. All the menus are exquisite, the salmon niguiris, bull niguiris, the tuna and albacore rolls wrapped with rice paper: super yummy. And if you like desserts, the banana miso bar is superb.

Katsuya:
Located at the heart of West Hollywood, it is one of the classic sushi of the city. Visited by celebrities and really crowded at times of red carpet, it is one of the most it spots in LA. The setting, done by Philippe Starck, is perfect and everything you taste is delicious. Drinks are the specialty of the house and all of them are superb, but our favorite is the Lychee Martini, which goes hand in hand with the food of the place.

Sushi Park:
Located at the second floor of a typical LA commercial center, at the very beginning this place seems ordinary, but it is famous for having a traditional sushi with the best quality. Everything is delicious and the textures of the fishes are perfect for fine palates. Forget about ordering a California roll or a spicy tuna roll since it is a typical Japanese sushi. If you choose to sit at the bar, you can enjoy Omakase: the chef’s selection of the fishes of the day. Sushi Park has kept its quality for the last ten years and the silence of the place makes it an oasis in the middle of noisy Sunset Strip!
Nozawa Bar:
Nozawa is a cozy and warm place inside the restaurant Sugarfish of Beverly Hills. A perfect resto to live a unique Japanese experience. The sushi men Nozawa & Fujita, two renowned chefs and friends who, since 30 years ago have been designing the menu each morning after going to the market to choose the fishes. The place is just a counter for no more than ten people where the sushi men, under the Omakase service, tell the hosts the characteristics of each piece. A very traditional sushi that is worth visiting; one thing to take into account: you have to book in advance so be prepared!
