We love Mexican food and we were advised to visit a super cool spot in New York: Lupe’s, a place that has been offering Mexican food in Soho for 28 years and that is one of the favorite ones of celebrities and top models. Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake are some of its frequent clients, besides, Lupe’s is famous because it was the location of the second season of the series Mr. Robot.
One of the specialties of the house is the grill “Pollo Norteño” that comes with beans, vegetables, and flour and rice tortilla wit salad. Salads such as Mix Organics are a classic and among quesadillas, the ones made by cheese and spinach are the best.
Besides, they offer veggie menus among which the spicy ones are really worth trying. Drinks are also good at Lupe’s, the most popular is Mixtec, made of a mix of Ancho Chile and classic Fidencio: a symbol of Southern Mexico.
