If you go to Los Angeles and you go around Silver Lake, you can’t avoid visiting Intelligentsia, one of the coffee shops that first arrived to the neighborhood that then became one of the coolest places of LA.
Characterized by its hipster atmosphere and its artisanal coffees, Intelligentsia is part of a chain of ten coffee stores located among Chicago, New York and Los Angeles and founded by Doug Zell and Emily Mange in 1995.
The best about it is that it offers a great variety of coffees and teas from different parts of the world. You can choose coffees from Colombia, Brazil, Bolivia, Rwanda, Ethiopia, and many other countries. And among teas they have green, white, oolong, black, iced, and tisanes, a beverage that combines different herbs.
Our suggestions? If you like tea, green one is delicious; if you prefer coffee, the Angeleno iced coffee latte is our favorite, and if you want to try something to eat, you can’t miss the chocolate croissants.
