Yesterday, Rihanna gave the first of the two shows she will give at Las Vegas as part of the tour Anti World Tour, the sixth of her career, and we were there.
The show of the artist, who has just launched a new single together with Clavin Harris called “This Is What You Came For”, was at Mandalay Bay hotel, and the lead-in singer was hip hop artist Travis Scott.
The performance started with the song Stay, from her seventh album, Unapologetic, and was followed by the classic Love the Way you Lie, a song from Eminem’s seventh album, Recovery, written by Eminem and sung by him and RiRi.
During almost two hours, the Barbadian shone with the strength and energy typical of her and made the audience dance at the rhythm of singles such as Woo, Consideration, Desperado, from her last album, Anti; or the best known Man Down, Where have you Been, and How Deep is Your Love.
Besides, RiRi dazzled everyone with a stunning style. For the opening, her fashion stylist, Mel Ottenberg, chose a Craig Green’s canvas coat, a bodysuit that Adam Selman made for her, a pair of thigh-high ruched boots by Giuseppe Zanotti, and Jacquie Aiche’s rose gold diamond hoops; then the artist wore an Armani privé coat and Manolo Blahnik pumps; and for the finale the election was a Y/Project suit, and a L.A Roxx stretch leather bodysuit.
The tour will continue in Arizona and in June it will move to Europe, to finish on August 21th in the United Kingdom, with a show at Hylands Park featuring David Guetta as lead–in artist: a luxury final show.
