The most musical weekend of the year finished some days ago and it left us overflowing with emotions that are still alive.

Eminem led the epic moment of the first night: he gave his first show in Argentina 20 years after releasing his first album, and he made us dance to the rhythm of the best hip hop. It was a historic party that started with the single 3AM and reached its peak with the song The Real Slim Shady, which had the audience jumping and moving their hands back and forth all the time.

On the second day, the heroine was Florence Welch, who, together with her band Florence + the Machine, moved us all with her powerful voice and an enchanting sweetness: a goddess on Earth.

Jack Ü closed day number one with a show full of energy that stirred the public up during more than an hour. The duet of the DJs Skrillex & Diplo shook up San Isidro racetrack with a show that had everything: music, lights, fireworks, confetti, and lasers.

Lolla’s afternoons were also superb. Alabama Shakes, the band led by Brittany Howard, shone with its soul and its blues-rock rhythms, and thrilled us all with its deep melodies and its gospel sounds. And Twenty One Pilots, the Ohio group that leads the ranking in the United States, amazed those who still didn’t know them.

Lolla Argentina 2016 was a celebration of music and art: a party that will always live on in our memories. We can’t wait for next one!

Enjoy it!
